Duration:
The whole trip forth and back will take you about 3.5hours with 2-3 minutes breaks in-between at normal walking pace ( approximately 10KM )
Excursion
The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km
I started out from the entrance of MacRitchie Reservoir Park Trail ( 0.0KM )

| Macaques found at the entrance of MacRitchie Reservoir Trail |
Reaching 1.5KM
Naturally , the trails are similar till you reached a certain point.
The trail at the beginning is just a narrow path , continuing with dried leaves being stepped by others.
FEELINGS : Rejuvenated by the slight breeze and partial sunlight
There are a number of small sheltered huts where you can stop to rest
1ST REST POINT (1.5KM)
2ND REST POINT (3.00KM)
3rd rest point and following on at different points
One-way trail , the trails are beginning to be uneven . Many slopes , rocks of different shapes and sizes , even the thick veins of the trees may cause you to trip and fall . So do be careful when you are proceeding to your next step!
ALWAYS LOOK OUT FOR SIGNS TO LEAD YOU TO YOUR DESTINATION!
If you are about to reach the TreeTop Walk , there's a long slope that you have to climb up. ( Food-Snatching monkeys are usually situated there! ) So do not consume anything in any case they might attempt to chase after you for food. Do not on your flash when you want to take photos of the monkeys!
After approximately 4.5KM , I have finally reached the HSBC TreeTop Walk *yay*

| On the suspension bridge |
You get to :
Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the forest from the
suspension bridge as well as the panoramic view of the place .
NEVER:
1. Run or jump on the suspension bridge
2. Do not turn back and walk because it's one-way walk
It will take you about 2-3minutes to walk till the end using normal walking pace.
After traversing the bridge
You will need to climb up and down the stairs to reach your first resting stop after the TreeTop Walk.

You can witness a tiny colourful snake slithering on branches if you are lucky just opposite your resting bench!
Highest point after the stairs and trials ! The most intriguing spot whereby there's breeze and water drains at the bottom left ( not in this picture )
Now it's time for me to head down towards the exit!
So basically there's 2 routes that i could take to reach the exit
1) Rangers station/Exit
2) MacRitchie Entrance
So I took the 1st route ( Rangers station/ Exit ) About 1.6KM to reach the Rangers Station from my current position at the highest point.
At the Rangers Station
There are washroom , and washing point as well as benches to rest!
Beside the pathway , there will be monkeys as well.
Upon passing by the Rangers Station , I came upon a jackfruit developing on the stem of the tree!
There are also durian trees as well but I can't seem to spot any durians as it's not the season yet!
2.4KM to go in order to reach the exit (Venus Drive public carpark)
Same goes to the advices!
BEWARE OF SNAKES!
There will be streams of water , be careful not to fall into the streams!
There will also be soft mud in between, do not step onto it , you might sink because we do not know how deep those soft mud are. I chose to walk on the step stools that there situated near the soft mud ( the only way to get through the soft mud! ) GOODLUCK <3
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Witnessing roads by the side , I'm actually smelling the fragrance of freedom ( if you get what i mean ) HAHAHAHA
Around 1.6KM left , I carried on walking walking and walking .
Finally i saw the light of freedom , the smell of freedom .
I had reached the Venus Drive Parking Site.
At this point , my knees are sore but this trip is meaningful and i had never regretted it! <3
If you are still considering on whether should you step into this 'forest'
YOU SHOULD STEP UP AND ENTER THIS 'forest' !
